The St Ives Acorn Cancer Support Group is a registered charity. The group comprises volunteers working in partnership with health professionals. The volunteers who interact with our clients are police checked, and attend a series of briefings on topics such as first aid, handling patients safely, bereavement and respecting confidentiality.
