Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is the third film in the Knives Out series, starring Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc.

The story follows Reverend Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor), a former boxer turned priest, who is assigned to assist Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin) at a troubled parish in upstate New York. Wicks, a divisive and authoritarian figure, collapses mysteriously during a Good Friday service, stabbed with a knife fashioned from a devil’s-head lamp finial. Suspicion initially falls on Jud, but private detective Benoit Blanc is called in to investigate.
