We extend our heartfelt thanks to Councillor Pasco Hussein for his generous support of The Acorn Cancer Support Group. At the recent Mayor Making Ceremony, Councillor Hussein presented a cheque for £3,660 to Simon Townend and John Windle on behalf of the Mayor’s Charity.

The presentation took place as Councillor Hussein concluded his term as Mayor of St Ives, passing the chain of office to the newly appointed Mayor, Councillor Julie Kerr.

Notably, this is not the first time Councillor Hussein has supported our cause during his previous term as Mayor in 2021/2022, he also made a meaningful contribution from his Mayor’s Charity. We are sincerely grateful for his continued generosity and support.
